Dylan is a history PhD student in an Open-Oxford-Cambridge collaborative doctoral program researching in partnership with the University of Edinburgh library. He completed his BA in History in 2019 at the University at Albany in New York and his MSc in Intellectual History in 2022 at the University of Edinburgh.
Dylan's work focuses on themes of nationalism, identity, autonomy, and the interpretation of historical narratives. His PhD work centers around the afterlives of the writings of the 17th and 18th-century scholar Thomas Innes, highlighting their significance for the Scottish Enlightenment and national identity in global context.
