Elsa Kugelberg

I am a doctoral student in political theory at Oxford, working on a thesis on Scanlon’s contractualism and social norms. I currently teach the course 'Theory of Politics' at the Department of Politics and International Relations.

Before coming to Oxford, I worked as a political advisor on foreign affairs and defense policy in the Swedish parliament. I have a MSc in philosophy and public policy from London School of Economics and a BA in political science and law from the University of Uppsala. I write about politics and philosophy for a public audience in Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter.
