Shereece Linton-Ramsay is a History DPhil student whose research interests centre around early 20th-century American history. She has previously undertaken a History BA (First-Class) and History MSt (Distinction) at Oxford, and she is the recipient of the 2024 Carwardine Prize for the most outstanding overall student in the US History MSt Cohort.
She is currently researching African-American girls' experiences with the juvenile justice system in the United States in the early 20th-century. Her research is consequently situated in both juvenile justice studies and black feminist historiography, and focuses on illuminating the nuances of black girlhood.
