I am researching how creative arts education can respond to climate crisis. This research project is being developed under the supervision of Dr. Alison Buckler, Dr. Jennifer Agbaire and Dr. Kelly Worwood and is in partnership with the NGO Plan International. My project will explore how people make sense of their world amidst challenges by using creative arts-based, ecocritical, and psychosocial methodologies.
Previously, I studied Economics at University of Delhi and Literary Art at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Delhi. My experience comprises of stints in publishing houses, policy institutes, and education sector in India. This practice later on extended to organising nature walks for children, facilitating creative writing workshops and making comics with a focus on daily life of objects and transforming spaces. I maintain a blog for my practice as a writer (read: walker) and am working on a climate fiction.
I will be happy to connect to people who are interested in climate education or practice-based research.
