Learning Latin and Greek from scratch when I joined the University of Cambridge to study Classics as an undergraduate sparked a love of the ancient world which drives my research to this very day. Focusing on miniatures and miniaturization in the ancient world, my work aims to get at the heart of the small objects which tell big stories about the ancient mind. My supervisor is Professor Robin Osborne.
