I am a DPhil candidate at Trinity College, Oxford, researching multimodality in the poetry, translations, and visual practices of two 20th-century Argentine poets, Alejandra Pizarnik and Susana Thénon. Alongside the AHRC OOC studentship, I have been awarded funding from the Clarendon Fund and the Trinity Christie Miller Scholarship.
I recently completed an MSt, also at Oxford, focusing on 20th-century poetry from the Southern Cone. I am also a translator and currently serve as Director of Outreach at the translation journal Asymptote. My research interests include gender, queer studies, postcolonial resistance, translation, and the relationship between poetry and the visual arts.
