Maria Czepiel was a doctoral candidate in Medieval and Modern Languages at the University of Oxford. She has published on Neo-Latin poetry and is interested in Classical reception, biblical studies and lyric poetry in the Golden Age of Spain. Her DPhil project analysed the poetry of the Spanish humanist Benito Arias Montano.
