I am studying for a DPhil in History at the University of Oxford, with focus on the politics of corpse disposal in modern Britain. I have previously AHRC funding for my Master's degree at the University of Oxford on the same topic. My doctoral research is supported by the Peter Storey Scholarship, Balliol College, as well as the OOC-AHRC DTP.
During the first year of my DPhil I founded the Oxford Death Studies Network, which organises academic and public engagement events on death and mortality. The Network aims to support and disseminate Oxford graduate scholarship on the cultural and social aspects of death. We are grateful to Balliol College Interdisciplinary Institute and The Oxford Centre for Research in the Humanities for supporting our early events.
