Kay is a PhD student at Newnham College, Cambridge. She works on intersecting histories of art, medicine and modernity. Her doctoral work examines ideas and practices of colour as therapeutic in early twentieth-century Britain. This project is generously funded by an Open-Oxford-Cambridge AHRC DTP studentship. She previously completed an MA in Art History at the Warburg Institute (2018-19) and an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science at Cambridge (2020-21).
