Lena Breda

Lena is reading for a DPhil in History at the University of Oxford. At Jesus College, she is exploring how famines affected Romans' understanding of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century urban reconstruction. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Lena attended the University of Chicago for her B.A. in History and Italian. She was a 2021 Fulbright Ambassador in Bologna, Italy, and was awarded a MPhil in Early Modern History from the University of Cambridge in 2022.
